RPA for Windows depends on MSVC++ runtime libraries. If your computer does not have it installed, choose the compressed bundle that includes all required components, or download and install redistributable runtime components from Microsoft download center:

Installation of RPA for Microsoft Windows via Compressed Bundle (ZIP)
Local administrator privileges are not required when installing RPA for Windows using the compressed bundle (ZIP) method. This approach provides a streamlined installation process for users with standard permissions.
Antivirus Software Considerations
Antivirus software on Microsoft Windows systems may interfere with the execution of RPA. In this case, the user may need to explicitly allow the execution of the software.
Potential issue on MS Windows 11: RPA 4 may fail to start.
Solution: RPA is built using MSVC++ 2019, and the provided compressed bundle includes the installer for the MSVC++ 2019 redistributables, which works perfectly on Windows 10.
However, on Windows 11, you may need to install the updated redistributables for MSVC++ 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022, which are available from the Microsoft Download Center:

Installation
RPA for Microsoft Windows is distributed as Compressed Bundle (ZIP) for x86-64 architecture.
RPA for Microsoft Windows depends on Qt and MSVC++ redistributables for x64. If your computer does not have it installed, choose the package that includes all required components.
Installation instructions:
- Extract files from the ZIP package into selected directory
- Start the program, executing the command RPA.exe
- To uninstall the application, delete the RPA installation directory

RPA for Linux is distributed as Compressed Bundle (TAR.GZ) for x86-64 architecture.
To install the program
- Extract files from the archived package into selected directory
- Start the program, executing the shell script RPA.exe
- To uninstall the application delete the RPA installation directory

- The user may run the analysis 3 times without restarting the software. To continue with evaluation, the application has to be restarted.
- After restart, the application does not open the last used configuration file automatically. If needed, the user has to open it explicitly.
- Maximum number of propellant components (screen "Propellant Specification") is limited to 1 for oxidizer and fuel in bipropellant configuration, and to 3 in monopropellant configuration.
- Maximum number of cooling segments (including film slots) in thermal analysis is limited to 3.
- Number of sections (stations distributed along the thrust chamber) in thermal analysis is fixed, and equals to 30.
- The user may run the analysis 1 time without restarting the software.
- The user cannot open configuration files.
- The user cannot save modified configuration in to file.
